Ann Arbor's Hill Auditorium was the last stop on a 15-city U.S. tour, but the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra and its music director, Leon Botstein, were unstinting in a nearly two-and-a-half-hour University Musical Society concert Sunday afternoon that sandwiched meaty music by Sternberg, Bernstein and Copland between opening and closing odes to America and Israel, first in the form of the two countries' national anthems, and then in Leroy Anderson's "Blue Tango" and Naomi Shemer's "Jerusalem of Gold."
